• grew up in an eye-wateringly rich family
• his dad, frank sr, is a famous motivational speaker/life coach with extremely suspect methods that verge into scam artistry, medical quackery and pyramid schemes at best, and straight up cult leader shit at worst
• his mom, helen conroy, is an heiress to a large newspaper mogul family. she was famously involved in a cheating scandal which led to divorce when fran was 12; the scandal notably was first reported by one of her family's newspapers.
• he has three younger sisters (persephone "sephy", mycenae "mycie", and theia), the youngest of which is from his mother's second marriage to an actor (not the guy she cheated with)
• frank sr has married several women since divorcing helen, most of whom he met when they bought tickets to his life coaching seminars
• fran decided to forge his own path and cut ties with his family to live a wild life on his own terms
• is only just realising that money can be exchanged for goods and services now that he doesn't Have Any
• very sweet, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, but capable of manipulation when he needs to be
• paints a lot; he tends towards heavily abstract pieces and likes to bullshit people about their deeper meaning to try to sell them, but he's actually quite good at portraits. he usually has a sketchbook with him and will often ask to draw strangers.
• he has a lot of "friends" which are a mixture of people who like him but don't know much about him and people who are leeching because of his family connections or because they think he has money to burn
• heavy recreational drug user – his "try anything once" mentality has spiralled into several addictions, but he hasn't even admitted that to himself

first impressions.

visual. lanky, waifish, standard 'prettyboy' vibe with full lips and wide eyes. he keeps his curly blonde hair quite long, and has a lot of freckles.

fashion. lots of bright prints, flared pants, well-worn vintage stuff. he's very fond of his clothes, but he'll give them away to people on a whim, and a lot of his clothes are actually things that have been given to him by others or things he's just taken from friends' wardrobes. they're either too tight or much too big.

demeanor. very chill, kind of happy-go-lucky for the most part. he has a super positive energy and even if he's sad or in a bad mood he mostly gives off a bittersweet energy. he tries very hard not to mope.

aural. he has a pretty strong california-ish accent and he speaks slowly, a little dopey, with lots of 'man' and 'dude' thrown in there.
